The City of London

TOURS CE & CW - The ‘City of London’, or ‘Golden Square Mile’ is the oldest, most historic area of London, having been founded by the Romans 2,000 years ago - as ‘Londinium’; it has served as the nation’s capital ever since (with a brief recess in early Anglo-Saxon times). We do two different 1 to 2 hour tours of this area, honing in on different elements as specified by you. CE focuses on the east of the city, around London Bridge and the Bank of England, whereas CW looks at the area around St Paul’s and the Roman walls.
